And So It Begins

This is my first post. Yay! I suppose I should start with some background as to how this blog came about:

This is not the first time I've tried to lose weight, and it will likely not be the last. I guess I just figured I should try something new.  And here it is. I plan to document my entire weight loss process right here for your reading pleasure. Hopefully, the fear of looking like an incompetent, unmotivated loser for all the world to see will keep me on track for once...

And about this whole race thing: I am going to keep things fun and fresh by running twelve races in twelve months. Everywhere I read there are some repetitive pointers for losing weight. One of these is to keep weight loss fun. Races are fun. And in true Danielle fashion, I will not be running just any races. These are going to be fun crazy unique races. I'm talking themes, costumes, the whole shebang. So stay tuned, this is about to get really good;)

I thought you might want to check something out that has helped me trememdously to lose weight and keep it off for over a year. This is the last time. Anyway, the website is called www.peertrainer.com and they have a program called the Point of No Return. It's a way of getting people to a place where weight loss and maintenance is a no brainer, not a struggle forever with large swings up and down. I sound like I work for the company, but I don't! I'm just another blogger, just like you, working on being at a healthy weight and putting myself out there in the process. I wish you all the best in finding your beautiful self forever!
